The Developmental Test of Visual Perception (DTVP-3) assesses visual perception and visual-motor integration between the ages of 4 to 12. The test is shown to be unbiased relative to race, gender, and handedness. It includes five subtests: Eye-Hand Coordination, Copying, Figure-Ground, Visual Closure, and Form Constancy. The results of the five subtests are combined to form three composites: Motor-reduced Visual Perception, Visual-Motor Integration, and General Visual Perception (combination of motor-reduced and motor-enhanced subtests). The norms of the new version of the test have been updated, and the composite scores have no floor or ceiling effects
